To index the pdfs (for fast searching) you will need Acrobat Professional 6, or Acrobat 5. To run Reader from the CD you will need to install full Reader to a machine without any Acrobat versions installed, and copy the resultant folder/file structure to your CD. The master table of contents could be a separate pdf or you could use the Bookmark facility of Acrobat.
