Re: Simple PDF Editing Question
you can use either the text box tool to add text where there is not
currently any text , or you can use the text touch up tool to make
minor touchups to existing text. the text box tool can be accessed by
going to the Tools menu and selecting the advanced commenting toolbar.
once the text box is in the pdf, right mouse click on it and select
Properties to change the background fill color. To change the font of
the text in the text box, double click in the text box, select
View-Toolbars-Properties toolbar.
To find the Text touchup tool, click to the Tools menu, select
Advanced Editing, and TouchUp text tool. Then click wherever there is
exiting text and you will be able to edit the text.

I have Adobe Acrobat Professional 6.0. I need edit this PDF to put an
"x" on one of the boxes on the form and add our office's address to
the top of the form. The only way I can currently figure out how to do
this is using the commenting tools. The problem is, now when I try to
print the form - in order to get my changes to appear - I have to
select print with comments. With this option, it prints big numbers
next to each of my changes that correspond to the comment number. I
would like to simply add these changes as though they are not
comments. The forms look terrible when I send them out because they
have these comment numbers next to each change. I upgraded to Acrobat
Professional because I thought I could edit a PDF with it. Any ideas?
Seems like it should be pretty simple. Thanks in advance!
