Merging two PDF files (even/odd pages) in Acrobat 4.0
Hello,
We have Adobe Acrobat 4.05 and are trying to merge two PDF files that
were scanned with a non-duplex network scanner. I have two TIFF files
as a result. One with the front page (odd) and back pages (even). However
the second file is in reverse order of the first file. I would like to
merge the two TIFF (or PDF) files and have one that maintains the order
of the original document.
I have seen a thread on Google that someone has written a .js javascript
file that will work. It seems that this will not work in Acrobat earlier
than version 5.0. I do not see a "Javascript" folder in the Acrobat 4.0
hierarchy. I only see "plug_ins" folder.
Can someone tell me if it is possible to execute a javascript or similar
type macro in Acrobat 4.0 or if there is a decent utility to do this.
Thanks
Mike McWhinney
