Thanks for replying, David. I am trying to apply color maps with Property Mapper with some success... not quite there yet though, so if anyone else know of something that definitely works, please let me know.
I'll also check out Shatter and see if I can do the same effect there: barring all of that, I'll just render out movies of the particles. I know how to stop them. :)
