Re: removing 3/2 pulldown
Go to 'Interpret Footage' for the source movie in question, select "Separate fields" as Upper or Lower (depending on what the case is), and then select the correct 3:2 sequence next to "Remove Pulldown" (you might have luck with the 'Guess 3:2 Pulldown' button, but otherwise it's easy to figure out by stepping through your source clip; W stands for Whole frames (those with no interlace) and S is for Split (those which are an interlaced mix of two film frames).
Once you do this, the clip will show up as 24 frame/3:2 removed, and you can put it in a 24 frame comp and render that out.
