Re: export YUV out of After Effects
I know of no codec that supports YUV output. There are SDI boards made by several companies that will give you uncompressed SDI output but that's the only way I know of to generate YUV directly from within AE. I know of no other way. What format would your editor prefer? If your editor is using an AVID, for example you can export to the AVID codec he is using. There is no still image format that I know of that is based on YUV color space.
BTW – I avoid tga’s whenever I can because it’s an old format that can do very strange things with alpha channels. When exporting a sequence I usually use .tiff.
